quick facts about me
After graduating college in 2011, I knew that I wanted to pursue photography. Over the last 10 years, I've been blessed to be a part of several weddings and family memories.
No matter what story you'd like to tell through photos, I'd love
to be the one to capture it for you.
+ I'm addicted to Moka coffee shop. My go-to drink is either a hot or iced Jamaican with oat milk + sugar.
+ I have a 2-year-old daughter named Lyla.
+ We can't wait to have the space for a golden retriever or lab someday.
+ My favorite seasons are spring and fall. I love curling up with a warm blanket and a cup of coffee.
+ My favorite travel spot is Door County, WI. I love visiting the lighthouses + state parks, along with trying out new restaurants.
+ If I could go anywhere in the world, I'd visit Hawaii.
My style can be described as light and airy - I love the warm golden light that comes just before sunset.
I'm a huge fan of spring & fall - nothing beats those beautiful springtime blossoms toward the end of May and the leaves changing all shades of vibrant colors in October.
Nothing beats Door County in the fall. If you've never been - you HAVE to go. I have recommendations for favorite hotels & must-see stops along your route. The photo on the left was taken in Peninsula State Park before the tower was torn down (they're in the process of rebuilding it now!)
I loved taking photos of the places we'd travel growing up. In high school, I was asked to take photos for friends, and my business quickly grew from there. I've always had a knack for capturing the emotion of a moment, and I get so much joy hearing from families whose stories I've been honored to help tell.
We were blessed to have two dogs as I was growing up; we had to say goodbye to our sweet Kaya girl in the spring of 2020.
From puppy kisses to belly rubs, I enjoy interacting with dogs of all kinds. My heart will forever be with golden retrievers and labs.
If I don't have to cook - I won't. 😂 Cooking has never come naturally to me; I once set an oven on fire (oops!)
I love quick lunches + coffee with my family at Panera. We love trying new restaurants, which is always easy to do in the
Madison area!
